The Asia Pacific Association for Fiduciary Studies (APAFS) is pleased to announce the sponsors of 14th Annual Pacific Region Investment Conference to be held on November 13 & 14, 2014 at the luxurious New World Makati Hotel, Manila, Philippines. This annual event will once again bring fiduciaries, institutional investors and investment experts together from across the globe in order to share information to help them exercise prudent fiscal stewardship.
Prior to the 14th Pacific Region Investment Conference, APAFS will again host two fi360® fiduciary training programs: Fiduciary Essentials™ (FE®) Certificate Training Program slated on November 10, and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary™ (AIF®) Training Program on November 11 & 12. These back-to-back programs will be held at the same venue as the Conference. These programs are designed to raise, and certify, fiduciary standards among investment stewards and investment professionals. Notably, successful completion of the AIF® Training Program prepares interested participants to take the examination that enable them to earn the prestigious AIF® Certification.
APAFS, a Guam based 501c(3) non-profit association that seeks to raise the level of understanding and standards of practice among fiduciaries in the region, attracted more than 200 attendees during the November 2013, 13th Pacific Region Investment Conference. Participants and speakers attended from Australia, American Samoa, Fiji, Federated States of Micronesia, Guam, Hong Kong, Republic of the Marshall Islands, New Zealand, Republic of Palau, Philippines, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the United Kingdom and United States of America, among others.
